I cried....

I took my kids to the park one Sunday afternoon to let Joe take a nap. Liam and Harper immediately got out to play, but I stayed in the car. (My girls were sleeping.) If you look hard in the bottom picture you can see my boys. They're sitting on a dinosaur at the park together. They had the whole park to themselves and I just cried. I cried for how grateful I am to have them in my life!

They had this huge park to themselves and yet they played together. Liam would do fun tricks on different equipment and Harper would follow along. If he didn't get the move right he would try again and then race to catch up with Liam. There bond is strong and I'm happy that they have each other.

I swear I sat in the van for over an hour sobbing. (Maybe due to my hormones still being crazy) I sobbed for my heavenly father loving me so much to bless me with these gifts. I sobbed for there closeness and love for each other. I sobbed for how lucky my girls are to have them. Mostly I sobbed for the love they have for me and that no matter how much Joe and I mess up we're their parents and they love us regardless. Liam and Harper thank you for letting me be your mom! I love you both tons!

Grace Emma

On May 15th, 2011 at 2:40 pm we welcomed our beautiful baby girl! Grace Emma was 7 lbs 8oz and 19.5 inches long. She's a wonderful addition to our family. We couldn't be happier and we just love her to pieces!

Birth Story: I woke up at 4:30 am with contractions, but they were just the tightening type so I layed in bed until 6:30 am. By this time they were starting to hurt, so I woke Joe up and said I think it's time. His response was, "Babe I'm tired!" I told him I would take a shower and see how I felt. The contractions started to get stronger, but weren't consistent. Joe showered and finally packed his bag and we headed into the hospital around 8:30 am. They said they weren't sure if they would keep me, but I was dilated to a 4. I labored for awhile and my doctor started me on pitocin around 1:30 pm and broke my water a 2:00 pm. My contractions were getting very intense. The nurse asked me if I wanted my epidural that it would take 20 minutes, because he was on call. I ABOUT DIED! I got my epidural at 2:20 and I was at a 10 and ready to push. She was here in 3 pushes and it was incredible. I guess I could've went natural, but I'm a major wuss!
Her cry was beautiful and when they laid her on me I couldn't believe the amount of love that came over me. She looks so much like her siblings and her dad! Happy Birthday Gracie....I love you so much!

She's here!

Bella calls her Baby Ray....so cute!

Japanese Festival

Joe took us to a Japanese Festival which turned out to be a ton of fun. (Although it snowed!) We got to see martial arts demonstrations, eat excellent food, and the kids got there faces painted. Joe bought the boys swords and Bella an umbrella to hang in her room.

Demonstrations and people participating

Liam had a dragon on his face.

Harper also had a dragon.

Bella got a butterfly painted on her face.

Bella and Liam fighting....she was demonstrating her moves.

Money Machine

Liam's school had a cookie dough fundraiser. Liam sold enough to participate in the money machine. It was really fun to watch all the kids catch money. He won a whopping $7.00 and was so happy! Sorry the pics are so blurry.

Happy Easter

We had a really great Easter! Our weekend started out at an Easter Egg hunt and then Easter Sunday we went to church and just relaxed around the house. The kids had lots of fun collecting eggs. There were bunnies to hold and Bella just loved them. Liam and Harper ate almost all their candy in the car ride home. Enjoy the pics!

Liam was fast at finding eggs.

He looks so big in this pic!

Harper and the bunny!

Bella just kept saying "bunny"! It was so cute!

I love how she's kicking her leg up.
