This Saturday we took the kids to the Salt Lake Temple. I've been wanting to go since we moved here. It's absolutely stunning! The weather was so nice, and the flowers were so pretty. While we were there we saw a couple of brides getting their photos taken. I have to admit that I was a little jealous of not being sealed in this temple. The wooden doors are so beautiful, and it just looks like a castle. What bride wouldn't want their photo taken in front of it?! I'm so grateful for the temple. I love that my family has been sealed to Joe and I for all time and eternity. The temple is so sacred. We made the kids promise to be sealed in the temple one day! (Idea from Rachelle's blog :) I look forward to many trips to all the temple's here in Utah.

Church Suits and Cowboy Boots

I love when the boys get dressed up for church. They love wearing their ties! Harper's new favorite thing is his cowboy boots! He's obsessed with Buzz Lightyear and Woody. My mom sent him these Woody boots, and he refuses to wear anything else. I always said (before I had kids) that my children would never wear things like this. Oh how that changed! They love anything to do with their favorite movies, so why should I deprive them of that?! I love that they know what they like, and I'm proud to see them sporting their favorite characters. Someday I will miss these moments, and their crazy fashion sense.

My day started out to Joe making crepe's! They're one of my favorite foods, and I was so excited when I figured out what he was making. We spent the morning just relaxing and singing. We like to listen to music on YouTube, and the boys love it as well. I'm amazed at how many songs little Harper has memorized. We then went to church, and took a nice walk at Utah Lake. The weather was beautiful, and I got some cute pics. I had a great relaxing day. I'm so grateful for my family. I love that I have the most precious gift of being a mother. I love my children with all my heart and soul. Happy Mother's Day!

Miss Bella can wear shoes now! I'm so EXCITED...can you tell? Well she's been wearing little pedi-pads for awhile, but now she fits into these cute numbers. She has a ton of shoes. (Just like her mommy!) I love dressing up my girl!

Joe's New Ride

Joe FINALLY got a new car 2 weeks ago. He knew what he wanted since he had the same thing before...actually he traded in his Nissan at Carmax about a month ago for a VW GTI. He then decided he didn't want the car payment so he took it back. (They have a policy that you can return it in 5 days!) Turns out they got rid of his car, so they gave him the trade in value and we've been saving. He finally found one that he loves and I have to admit I do too! It's a 2006 VW GTI and it's bright ORANGE yea that's right bright ORANGE! I joke with him that the neighbors probably think he's nuts! He loves it and that's all the matters. The boys think it's a race car.
